City of Monterey, Kiwanis Club, and Food Bank Plan Drive Through Thanks Giving
For years the Monterey Kiwanis Club has partnered with the Food Bank and the Monterey Fairgrounds to provide a fun and delicious Thanks Giving meal to thousands of hungry and need people. This year due to Covid 19 a sit down community dinner at the Fairgrounds is not possible but Monterey Kiwanis Club President, Anita Roth, wouldn't allow this tradition to end. She worked with the City of Monterey and the Food Bank to ensure that families who want a Thanks Giving meal can have one. Each individually prepared meal will have all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings including turkey, yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and green beans, salad and pie. Advance reservation is required and you can do so here.
