The Monterey Kiwanis club organized volunteers for the concession stand at the 18th hole of the US Women's Open this past week. I've been a member of Monterey Kiwanis Club since 2003, and the club raises funds for scholarships, and grants for youth and seniors.
This Sunday I volunteered to help out at the 18th hole where we served up food and drinks. It was fun and we had a great team of volunteers from area Kiwanis clubs including Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel Valley and Salinas.
